Privacy policy

This policy explains what happens to personal data when you visit this website, under Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and Spanish Organic Law 3/2018 (LOPDGDD). It is short because this website does very little with data.

What this website does not do

Server log files

When a page is requested, the web server automatically records technical data that your browser transmits: IP address, date and time of the request, the page requested, HTTP status code, the amount of data transferred, the referring page where applicable, and the browser and operating system identification.

This data is processed on the basis of legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR) in operating the website securely and diagnosing technical faults. It is not merged with any other data source and is not used to identify individual visitors. Log files are rotated automatically and older files are overwritten.

Hosting

This website is hosted on infrastructure operated by Hetzner Online GmbH, Industriestr. 25, 91710 Gunzenhausen, Germany, on servers located within the European Union. A data processing agreement under Article 28 GDPR is in place with the hosting provider. No transfer of personal data to a third country takes place.

Contact by email or telephone

If you contact me by email or telephone, the data you provide — your name, contact details and whatever you write in your message — is processed in order to handle your enquiry, on the basis of Article 6(1)(b) GDPR where it relates to a contract or pre-contractual steps, or Article 6(1)(f) GDPR otherwise.

Email to the address above is handled by the mail service of the domain's provider, Hostinger International Ltd. (Cyprus), on servers within the European Union. If you would prefer not to use email for sensitive information, please call instead. Enquiry correspondence is kept as long as needed to deal with the matter and to meet any commercial or tax retention obligations, then deleted.

Your rights

You have the right to request access to your personal data, its rectification or erasure, restriction of processing, and data portability, and to object to processing based on legitimate interest. Requests can be sent to the email address above and are answered within one month.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. In Spain this is the Agencia Española de Protección de Datos (AEPD), C/ Jorge Juan 6, 28001 Madrid.

Changes to this policy

This policy reflects the website as it currently stands. If features are added that process data differently — a contact form, a booking tool, analytics — this page will be updated before those features go live.
